Diandra Mae Illustrations - PORTFOLIO
Diandra is an active member of the SCBWI, and has been the Illustrator Coordinator
for the Houston SCBWI chapter since 2010, working with local illustrators seeking to be published in
the children's literature market.
She is active in social media organizing, and with two others, moderating the chat every Thursday night on Twitter at 9:00pm EST.
A Bachelor's in Communications, years of teaching, and volunteering have all given Diandra
the tools to effectively partner with others to bring projects to a successful completion. She
looks forward to and approaches each project with creativity, enthusiasm and organization. In recognition of her illustrations' potential, she was recently she awarded one of SCBWI's top honors, the 2017 Summer Conference Mentorship Award.
